BMCC STEM Innovation Challenge is a one-day event taking place on Saturday, Nov 4th, hosted by Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) Technology Learning Community.
Students from all majors will team up to build innovative projects and compete for prizes.
The purpose of this event is to inspire BMCC students to work collaboratively to solve real-world challenges at BMCC.
BMCC Technology Learning Community project is excited to host BMCC's first STEM Innovation Challenge where teams of students collaborate to create solutions for Social Good at BMCC. Our STEM Innovation Challenge empowers BMCC students from all disciplines to be agents of changes. To further prepare for the workforce we lower the barrier and provide a learning environment where students from diverse backgrounds can create solutions and have the opportunity to learn teamwork, leadership and subject-matter competence in real-world problems at BMCC.
BMCC STEM Innovation Challenge is free, and made possible thanks to our wonderful supporters: NSF, BMCC, BMCC CIS Department, BMCC Programming Club and BMCC Success and Innovation Lab
