A short drive or walk less than a mile from “Bluewaters” is the local beach town of Topsail Beach. Restaurant dining includes; The Beach Shop Grill, The Breezeway, and Cora’s deli. The Quartermoon book/gift shop also serves sandwiches, has a wine bar, coffee and smoothie bar and seasonal outdoor music concerts. 

Kids activities include putt putt golf, an arcade and ice cream at the Patio Playground. The town also sponsors a large playground with basketball courts, swings and slides for the kids. Busch marina is also available just as you enter the town center. 

The Missles and More Museum located in the assembly building in Topsail Beach displays the history of the island and the military missle facility that initially inhabited Topsail Island in the 1940’s.

Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time is 3-5pm and check-out time is 10am. Daily rentals are available in non-peak season with a 3 day minimum. No animals are allowed to accommodate our guests that suffer from allergies. No smoking allowed anywhere in the house. Please use the ground floor area only. Please protect our house condition during your stay. Please remove all trash from the house before you check out and leave the house and furnishings neat and broom clean. We subscribe to a local cleaning service that will perform thorough cleaning after every guest stay.

The south end of Topsail Island is beautiful, walk around the point and watch the sunset while you play in tidal pools. During the summer Loggerhead Turtles lay eggs along the shore that hatch during the warm summer nights. Dolphins play in the surf on the beach and surfing is great. The beach and dunes are growing on the south end leaving isolated dunes and wide white sandy beaches. Fishing is outstanding 

Take a short trip to the mainland to the famous Karen Beazley Sea Turtle Hospital. The hospital rescues injured sea turtles from all over the Atlantic coast and releases them back to the ocean once rehabilitated.
