Petting Zoo Questions and Answers

All petting zoos may be inside or outside
- No more than three stairs in a row
- One exception is the cow, who only does outside events.

Base Package

$500 includes
- 2 hours
- Small Petting Zoo package
- 2 employees
- Light decorating of petting zoo area

On-Site Base Package

$250 includes
- 2 hours
- Small Petting Zoo package for people to enter
- Ability to most other animals from over the fencelines
- 2 employees
- Up to 12 seat placings with table and hay bale seats
- Tables for food and gifts
- Optional music through an Alexa

Fine Print

- If Blue Shamrock Farm decides the party needs to be rescheduled due to weather concerns, you have 90 days to reschedule.
- Cancellations within 30 days of the party date will forfeit the deposit.
- Signed waivers are required before participating in class.
- We are fully insured for parties at the farm or traveling.
- Please come dressed for the weather. If it has recently rained, there may be mud on the ground. Wear waterproof or water-resistant footwear. For private visits, visitors must have enclosed footwear to enter animal enclosures.
- Private visits and pony rides require signed waivers for each person.
- All visits are weather dependent. Light rain/snow is fine, but harsh weather where branches might fall will cause the cancellation of all visits. Please contact us if unsure of the weather.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided; however, if you wish you bring your own favorite brand, you are certainly welcome.
- You may wash your hands at the barn hose with soap and water as well. No sink access is available.
- Snacks for the animals will be provided. Please do not bring outside food for the animals.
- USDA licensing is not required for petting zoos that feature exclusively livestock farm animals.
