YEP STL! Grant

• Amount: $10,000 to be divided between multiple organizations

• Description: YEP STL! (Youth Engaged in Philanthropy) is a group of high school students passionate about helping the community and motivated to help youth of St. Louis by encouraging bright futures.

• Requirements:

1. Organization addresses the education, physical, and mental health of children and youth.

2. must provide programs in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, or St. Charles County

3. Applicant must be an IRC Section 501c3 organization

Spirit of St. Louis Women's Fund

• • Amount: Single-year grants of $5,000-$25,000 are awarded to nonprofit organizations in the community

  • Description: Grants are made to organizations focusing on at least one of the following areas: Arts and Culture, Education, Environment, Health, or Social Services

  • Requirements:

1. Have a public charity status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code issued to an organization located in the Greater St. Louis Community

2. Have an operating budget of less than $1.5 million

3. Be headquartered and provide services within the Greater St. Louis Community

Costco Wholesale Grants and Donations

    • Warehouse Donations are for local organizations/local causes

    • Grant Applications are for larger, broad-based organizations/causes

  • Description: The Costco Charitable Contributions Committee oversees charitable donations to nonprofit organizations focusing on supporting children, education, and health and human services. Award amounts vary.

MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation

• • Description: Program was created to expand access to youth baseball and softball

  • Requirements:

1. Bold, innovative and creative ideas to increase opportunities for youth and in particular youth who are minorities, girls and/or located in underserved communities

2. Strong sense of mission and ability to accomplish that mission

3. Related experience and/or a proven track record

4. Committed leadership and dedicated staff

5. Understanding and knowledge of the community and population served

6. Financial stability for sustainability

7. Belief in community development through the games of youth baseball and softball

8. Use of youth baseball and softball to help underserved youth succeed beyond the field.

  • Description:For a 501(c)(3) lay organization with a central focus of doing original work on behalf of America's Children
