The story

Blueberry and Iris are two birds that were bred in a breeding farm and subsequently rescued. They were rescued because their original family didn't want them, and this repeated with subsequent families until we took them in. Unfortunately, they are not hand-tamed, so they don't enjoy attention and are scared most of the time. Basic tasks like cleaning their cage or seeking companionship are challenging due to their fear. While they are slowly becoming more aware of their surroundings, they are still incredibly frightened. Iris is the most timid bird in our family; she avoids contact at all costs, climbing walls and perches to escape. When approached, she screams and throws dramatic tantrums. Despite having them for a while now, they still haven't fully trusted us, though we sense they recognize this as their forever home. Blueberry is the plumpest bird in our flock, irresistibly fluffy and cute. Iris, too, becomes a charming ball of fluff when tired. Blueberry's dominance is evident; she controls food, perches, and swings, showing little inclination to share and occasionally hurting Iris. Nevertheless, Iris is starting to stand up for herself, which is encouraging. They reside in a tall cage stocked with plenty of food and water, including three water sources—two bowls and a dispenser—and two food bowls.
