At PhotoDate, we value your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our application to scan, edit metadata, and store your vintage photos.
Photos and Media: Our app requires access to your camera and photo library to scan and save images. We do not upload your photos to our own servers. The files are yours only.
Location Data: To provide the "Set Place" feature, the app may request access to your location. This data is used solely to embed GPS coordinates into your photo's EXIF metadata.
Device Information: We may collect basic technical information (device model, OS version) to improve app performance and fix bugs.
The information collected is used exclusively to:
Digitize and enhance your physical photos.
Embed accurate date and location metadata into image files.
Organize photos within your device's library (Smart Album Ready).
Local Processing: Most processing (cropping, color enhancement, metadata editing) happens directly on your device.
Third-Party Services: If you use Safe Cloud Backup (like iCloud), your data is subject to Apple’s privacy standards. We do not sell or share your personal information with third-party advertisers.
You can grant or revoke access to the camera, photo library, and location services at any time through your iOS Settings.
