Welcome to Bloom Journal ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application ("App").
All journal entries, mood records, vision board items, and personal notes you create are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not have access to, collect, or store your journal content on our servers.
When you use the AI Chat feature, your conversation is processed through a third-party AI service to generate responses. These conversations may be transmitted to our AI service provider for processing but are not stored or linked to your identity.
If you subscribe to Bloom Journal Premium, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment details, credit card information, or billing address. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple.
We do not collect analytics, usage data, or tracking information. We do not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

All personal data, including journal entries, mood logs, and settings, is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal content. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features, including any biometric lock you enable within the App.

AI Service Provider: Processes AI chat conversations. No personally identifiable information is shared with the AI provider beyond the content of your chat messages.
Bloom Journal is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:
View, edit, or delete any journal entry, mood record, or vision board item
Delete all data by uninstalling the App
Export or back up your data through your device's backup settings
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
