Booster Club Info

The Booster Club has two main purposes:

1) To provide the team with resources beyond what is funded by our school system (see examples of expenditures below).

2) To provide adult support to the activities and special events which help to raise funds and enhance team spirit.

The Booster Club is financed through dues and team fundraisers. Expenditures include things like the end-of-season banquet, snacks and beverages for the team, a coach bus for an offsite meet, coaches' honoraria to supplement the modest amounts provided by the school district, and meet entrance fees not covered by the school district.  Below is a list of ways we've supported the team in recent years:

• purchase of new uniforms (2019)

• purchase of new warmups (2023, 2018 and 2017)

• purchase of team tent (2016). 

• overnight trip to Luther or Wartburg (since 2016)

• middle school coach  

Our main fundraisers include:

•  Midwest Twin Cities Half Marathon Water Stops and Start/Finish Support (formerly HyVee Half Marathon)

• Cub Foods Bagging

• Meat Raffle and Bingo Nights sponsored by JAF

• Jersey Mike’s, Snuffy’s dinner nights

Booster Club leadership is provided through involved parents, the coaches, and the booster club officers.
