Blooming Flowers Academy LLC believes children are delicate seeds that require proper nurturing to bloom into the "flowers" they are destined to be. By allowing children to explore their natural gifts, providing them with the necessary tools, and keeping the love of God at the center of their lives; growth, innovation, and success are destined.

Within the next three years, Blooming Flowers Academy hopes to have our programs contracted with multiple organizations across the greater Charlotte Area including Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, and Rowan County. Within this time frame, Blooming Flowers Academy hopes to have a Childcare Network providing an enriching Summer Camp Program, After Care Program, Daycare, and Preschool Program, alongside our enrichment services of: religious life, athletic/recreational sports, trade programs, performing arts, creative arts, college/career programs, business courses, cultural exploration, and language courses.

We are a holistic and educational childcare network that provides programs for children ages five to sixteen. Our programs include the Summer Enrichment Camp, Summer Teens' Enrichment, Kids Out Fun Days, and Tutoring Services. Blooming Flowers Academy strongly believes in fostering loving, creative, ambitious, and innovative children who become the best versions of themselves.

Decima A. Michael is the founder and owner of Blooming Flowers Academy LLC. She is of West Indian heritage and is from the beautiful Caribbean islands of Antigua and Barbuda. Ms. Michael is an alum of Greensboro College where she studied Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, and Cultural Studies. She obtained her B.A. in Sociology with minors and concentrations in the above subjects in 2020. She has also completed Child and Adolescent Development and Early Childhood Education coursework. Ms. Michael founded Blooming Flowers Academy in January of 2022 accrediting her vision and purpose to “God, her creator.” She currently serves as a Lead 4th-grade teacher at Mallard Creek STEM Academy, in Charlotte, NC, and is versed in Math, Science, English Language Arts, and History. Ms. Michael takes pride in not only raising the brains of the next generation but also in using her college education to help foster emotionally intelligent, patient, kind, and loving adults of the future.
