The Kiwanis Club of Bloomfield has provided service to the Bloomfield community since 1922. The focus of our organization is to serve the community, and assist children and young adults throughout Bloomfield, NJ and the surrounding areas. Our club is a snapshot of the community, with members from all walks of life and our primary focus is to support our sponsored youth programs. We are extremely proud to sponsor K-Kids in each elementary school, Builders Club at Bloomfield Middle School, and Key Club at Bloomfield High School.
The men and woman of our club are unified in the belief that the children and the community benefit from the efforts of a group of caring and involved volunteers. Our charitable activities and community projects are directed at giving something back to the town, as well as helping those in need.
The Kiwanis Club of Bloomfield is a nonprofit 501(c)(4) organization.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.
Kiwanis will be a positive influence in communities worldwide — so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.
Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US$100 million every year for communities, families and projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
