Students have the choice to participate in accelerated independent study activities twice a week in working towards testing out of a higher level of Spanish by the end of the year. The option to attempt to test out of more than one level of Spanish is open to all students at Columbus City Schools. More information on specific testing details to be announced.

Journal Entry or Letter: (Intermediate-Advanced) Find a Spanish-speaking penpal from Students of the World, write a letter to a friend in Spanish, or complete a journal entry in Spanish. Cursos Universitarios de EdX: (Advanced-Superior) Look through the Course Catalog and choose your favorite EdX course for the semester, or search for your own EdX course in Spanish from the main site. This is the most challenging of all of the options, as these are free college courses being taught by real college professors in Spain, Mexico, and Colombia. (Esta es la opción más difícil, así que estos son cursos universitarios gratuitos enseñados por profesores universitarios reales de México, Colombia, y España.)
