Your privacy is deeply important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your information when you use the Bloom mobile application (“App”).
Bloom collects only the minimum data necessary to provide a personalized and secure healing experience.

(b) Healing Data (via PaperDB & Firebase Firestore)
Your written pain entries, timestamps, and garden/flower selections
Healing progress data, including ritual completion and affirmation status
Optional community shares (if you choose to share healing summaries publicly)
💡 Your full “pain texts” always remain private to you. Only brief, anonymous summaries are shared to the community if you explicitly choose to share.

For performance and troubleshooting (via Firebase Crashlytics and support emails):
Device model, manufacturer, Android version
App version, build number
Non-personal diagnostic logs (for crashes/errors)
(d) Subscription & Billing Information
If you purchase a Bloom Premium subscription, Google Play or App Store Billing may process:
Purchase status and expiry validation tokens
Subscription type (monthly/yearly)
Bloom does not collect or store your card or payment details — these are securely handled by Google Play / App Store.

When you choose to share:
Only short summaries of your pain entries are shared (never full text).
Your display name (or anonymous alias) appears with your shared summary.
You can receive or send flowers of compassion (supportive messages).
You can delete your shared summaries or received notes anytime.
All community data follows moderation and respectful content guidelines.
You have full control over your data:
Delete or Edit your pain entries anytime.
Logout: clears all local data from your device.
Delete Account: email our support to permanently remove your data from Firestore.
Community Participation: optional; you may use the app entirely privately.
Opt-Out of Analytics: disable crash reporting from system settings (via Firebase opt-out controls if available).
We implement multiple layers of protection:

Bloom is designed for general audiences ages 16 and above.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Bloom integrates several trusted third-party services to ensure smooth functionality, security, and reliability. Below is a summary of each service and what it does:
Firebase Authentication – Used for user sign-in with Google.
Handles: Email address, Display Name, and unique User ID (UID).
Firebase Firestore – Used for securely syncing and backing up user data to the cloud.
Handles: Pain entries, healing progress, and user profile information.
Firebase Crashlytics – Used for reporting app crashes and technical errors.
Handles: Anonymous crash and performance logs (no personal data).
Google Play Billing – Used for managing in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Handles: Subscription status and validation tokens (no payment card details).
PaperDB – Used for local offline data storage on your device.
Handles: Pain entries and cached user information (stored only on your phone).
Lottie – Used to display healing and garden animations inside the app.
Handles: No user data (animations are local assets only).
Each of these third-party services maintains its own privacy policy and complies with GDPR and other global data protection standards.
We retain user data only as long as necessary:
Personal account data remains until you delete your account.
Pain entries are stored until you manually delete them.
Crash logs are kept briefly for debugging and auto-purged by Firebase.
Community posts remain until you delete them.
You may request permanent deletion of all your data by contacting us at:

Upon confirmation, all your user data (profile, entries, community activity) will be deleted from Firebase and PaperDB.
