Battle Brothers of the Blood Angels
The "Battle Line" consists of battle brothers trusted to maintain a combat line against the enemy. This is achieved in both defence and offense by the battle brothers of the line. Units that make up this force are primarily those of the Intercessor, Heavy Intercessor, Jump Pack Brothers (also known as JP), and other assorted specializations. They are the backbone of the Chapters Countless victories and are where scouts are first sent before being able to do any other specializations like leadership or logistical specializations.
Specialization Types
Intercessors
Intercessors
Intecessors are the most common type of battle line brother. These units wear the Mark X Tacticus power armour and primarily the Cawl variant of bolt rifles.
Heavy Intercessors
Heavy Intercessors
Heavy Intercessors are the more durable but slower version of Intercessors armed with the Executor Bolt Rifle and Mark X Gravis power armour.
Jump Pack Intercessors
Jump Pack Intercessors
Jump Pack Intercessors are the shock forces of the Chapter excelling in close combat situations. They are armed with melee weapons and Marx X Omnis armour.
Eliminators
Eliminators
Eliminators are highly skilled marksman who often lead Scout formations into the Chapters engagements. These men are outfitted in the Mark X Phobos pattern of power Armour.
