The 2nd Company is a Battle Company, which is designated to combat the enemies fo the Imperium throughout the galaxy. Being a battle line company this force recieves a lot of the Scouts who have gained the requirements to brotherhood. This means that they are often the first place people go when they are wanting to transfer into the Logistical arm of the Chapter.
