What is Blogging?

"Blog is short for web log. It’s a bit like an online diary or journal, except blogs aren’t necessarily private, instead they’re created for an audience. "(1)

Blogs can be used in education to help learners, to showcase the students' work, to work in English to develop the writing skills of the learners and also to work on projects.

Students can create their class blogs and work on some issues related to the work carried out in class and in projects.

They can work online, share materials and comment when they follow other blogs.

Educators can choose to blog with their learners as the tool can create engaging tasks and help the learners read and write in English (2).
