Cyberbullying is harassment that happens on online platforms such as social media, text messaging, or online forums. It can have severe lasting effects and cause depression, anxiety, and emotional stress, which can lead to suicide, self-harm, and low self-esteem. To be safe from cyberbullying, you need to respect others who are online and avoid behaving in a way that can be seen as bullying or harassment. (Sabella, R. A., Patchin, J. W., & Hinduja, S. (2013).)Â Encouraging students to comment on the videos and annotations, either online or in person. I may help the discussion by using Diigo's forums or chat rooms.
I can instruct children on how to think about their own online activity and how to prevent or stop cyberbullying. Diigo's sticky notes or blogs might be used to collect their reflections.
Provide feedback and direction to my students on their annotations and reflections. I can use Diigo's dashboard or email alerts to keep track of their progress and activity.
