Some Common Ways to Use Essential Oils
Inhale – open the bottle, hold it under your nose, and take a deep breath
Apply topically – Apply oil blends right to the skin. Some areas are to apply wrists, temples, behind ears, under the nose, and the bottom of your feet.
Hand diffuse – apply a drop or two to your hand, rub your hands together, and inhale.
In your hair: Place a drop or two on your palms and work into your damp hair. You can also put a couple of drops of oil on your hairbrush and brush your hair. Keep oils out of your eyes.
Diffuser – use an essential oil diffuser. Follow the directions on the diffuser.
Massage – Apply oil blend to the area of the body where you want to massage.
Compress –Add 5 to 10 drops of essential oils to 100 ml of warm water, then soak a piece of clean cotton in the water, wring out the excess, and place the cloth on the affected area.
Bath - Add a couple of drops to bathwater.
