Comics
I don't always make comics but when I do they're pretty insightful.

This 10-page comic was the original rough draft of my film Do Cherries Grow in Space? It features the main character Hudson who encounters a mysterious alternate version of himself who leads him off into space where he finds the solution to what's had him feeling stuck in his life. When I made this comic I wasn't quite sure what exactly I wanted to happen in the final story but I figured this was a starting point. Upon finishing this comic and sharing it with others I began to realize that what I was trying to do with the story was figure out the cause of the sad state we see Hudson in here, and if I could give him something to be happy about. After this I continued to hammer away at my method for figuring out my own thoughts and comunicating my findings to an audience.
I drew this one day in 2020 for I don't remember exactly what reason. At the time I had just finished college and was drawing a lot to continue to develop my skills. It's an oversimplification of how we develop character. They say you have to go through something in order to have something to say. Maybe I didn't know what to draw and decided to depict how we find something to stand for.
