I moved to Florida from Montreal in 2011 to join the great team at NSU. In Montreal I worked for 3 years with David J. Marcogliese as an NSERC Industrial Post-Doctoral Fellow at Environment Canada. My teaching experience extends back almost 20 years and includes stints as a visiting assistant Professor at Bishop's University and SUNY Oswego, as well as adjunct positions at McGill University, Concordia University, and the University of New Brunswick at Saint John.
A brief overview of my training:
M.Sc. (McGill University). Studied cumulative effects of parasites and organochlorines in Arctic fish. My supervisors were Laurie H.M. Chan and Mark Curtis.
Ph.D. (University of New Brunswick at Saint John). Studied effects of pollution on parasitism in aquatic organisms. My supervisors were Deborah MacLatchy and Kelly Munkittrick.
NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow with Environment Canada. Main focus was studying parasitism in small-bodied fishes adjacent to oil sands facilities. My supervisor was Dave Marcogliese.
