Findlay Student Center:
The threshold design for Drury's Student Center begins with a decision to go to the bottom level or upper level. The upper level presents to be accommodating with it's inward slanted roof area. The threshold for the upper level then opens up once you pass through to two doors into a much larger area. The bottom level opens up outside the doors, and the lowered ceiling puts makes the bottom level have a cozy feel.
Davis-Harrington Welcome Center:
Missouri State's Welcome Center has a very abstract exterior that draws people to the peak of it's triangular shaped roof. The holed metal and glass layered behind lowers the ceiling level as you walk towards the front entrance. Once you think the height of the ceiling couldn't get lower, the threshold opens up into an area that promotes movement with the high ceiling and patterned wall.
Bay Hall:
Bay Hall's approach to the threshold is magnificent with a portico walkway and windows that draw you into the building. Once you've passed through the threshold the Welcome Center area opens up into a high ceiling area.
