Big Bear Recreational Camp spans 5 acres adjacent to National Park Service land, situated at an elevation of 6,759 feet. With its location about a quarter mile from the lake, the camp offers a camping experience in a natural setting. Campers will stay in A-Frame shelters, providing a basic but authentic outdoor experience. Given the elevation, it can become chilly at night, so warm clothing and bedding are recommended to ensure comfort.
