Will my daughter go to camp on Tuesday the 28th or Wednesday the 29th?

If your daughter is a YCL she will be going to camp on Tuesday and leaving around 6:30am. If she is not a YCL she will be going to camp on Wednesday the 29th leaving around 6:30am.

What time will the girls get home Saturday?

The plan is to have breakfast, pack up and head right out of camp. Please contact your ward leaders to see when and where their ETA is on the way home. 

Is there an emergency contact #? 

For emergencies please call your ward young women leaders

Is there cell reception? 

Yes 

Can I call and talk to my daughter at camp? Will they have their phones with them?

We will be asking that the girls check in their phones at the beginning of camp. Check them in with their ward leaders and it will be at the discretion of the ward leader during down times only to allow access to the phones. 

What if my daughter can't make it to all of camp? Can she go to only some of it?

Yes! We want your daughter to attend as much of it as she can, although you will have to provide the transportation for her. Please just give detailed information to the ward leaders so they can communicate with us what and when things are needed for her time with us.

Will we be in cabins or tents? 

The young women will be with their wards at night in A frame tents. So be sure to bring a sleping pad or mat for the wood floors in the tents.

Can we decorate our A frame tents?

Yes! Only using painters tape and push pins though. But you can hang lights in them or add a banner to them and make it their own.

Can the girls do camp pranks?

We do not want and will not condone any mean, malicious, rude, or scare pranks. We want girls to want to come back to camp! And we want the hosts of this camp to be happy with the behavior of our group! 

My child has special needs for eating; will it be accommodated? 

Yes, to the best of our ability the camp cooks will accommodate although if there are very specific needs, please feel free to pack and send specific items up with your girl and we can make sure they get them. 

How much is camp?

The cost is $150 per girl

Can I bring a friend to camp?

Yes! They must abide by the same rules, register, and pay for themselves. 

Will there be showers?

There are showers and bathrooms available for the girls to use. They will need to shower before morning ceremonies or during down time so it will be up to them to wake up in time for that.

Will my daughter need extra cash on hand?

Please ask your ward leaders if they will be stopping on their way home for food and if they need their own money.
