One of the two companies that make up the brigade, Black Hats of Titan Company are responsible for hosting phases for the Air Assault Course (AAC), a course for people looking to earn the Air Assault Badge in addition to hosting phases for AAS.Â
THE AIR ASSAULT COURSE AND AIR ASSAULT BADGE
The Air Assault Course is meant for personnel outside the 101st to earn the Air Assault Badge, a badge showcasing their proficiency in rappelling and air assault operations. Personnel who complete the course gain expertise in sling-load operations and the three kinds of rappelling (normal, tactical, and ACS)
To be eligible for the Air Assault Badge, you must meet all of the criteria listed below:
Must be recommended by their direct superior.
Must be in a USAR division.
Must have served in their unit for at least 2 weeks.
Must have 2FA active on both Roblox and Discord.
Must have no dishonorable discharges and/or suspensions filed in the past month.
