Become a Leader, Mentor, and Advocate in the Baton Twirling Community
The Black Baton Twirlers Network (BBTN) is committed to building an inclusive, supportive community that champions diversity and encourages growth within the baton twirling world. Our BBTN Ambassadors are at the heart of this mission, mentoring fellow twirlers, fostering connections, and amplifying the reach of our community through social media and outreach.
What is a BBTN Ambassador?
BBTN Ambassadors are active leaders in the twirling community, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to fellow twirlers while using their social media presence to promote our values of inclusion and unity. Ambassadors are passionate about connecting with and supporting others, both in person and online, helping grow the BBTN community while encouraging twirlers of all backgrounds to thrive.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be between the ages of 14 and 22.
Actively involved in baton twirling, whether through competitive twirling, performances, or recreational twirling.
Passionate about diversity and inclusion in the twirling community.
Willing to engage with and mentor younger twirlers.
Comfortable creating content and participating in monthly social media takeovers.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Mentorship and Leadership: Provide hands-on mentorship to fellow twirlers by offering guidance, feedback, and support both online and in-person. Whether it's sharing personal experiences, tips for improvement, or helping others navigate challenges, you'll help foster growth within the community.
Monthly Social Media Takeover: Each month, Ambassadors will lead a day-long social media takeover on BBTN’s Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook, sharing their twirling routines, insights, and showcasing what makes twirling special to them.
Content Creation: As an Ambassador, you will create content that reflects BBTN’s mission, whether through sharing your practice sessions, highlighting diverse stories, or promoting upcoming BBTN events.
Community Building: Help grow a connected community by facilitating discussions, encouraging collaboration, and participating in BBTN events—both virtually and in-person.
Promote Events and Initiatives: Support BBTN by using your platform to promote events, workshops, and other initiatives, helping spread the word and increase participation.
