About Me
I am fully qualified and insured with a Diploma in Animal Physiotherapy, BA(Hons) Degree Equine Business Management and HND Equine Studies. I am a registered therapist of IAAT - the International Association of Animal Physiotherapists, where I complete several hours of CPD training per year to ensure I continue to develop with latest techniques and research.
My experience with both horses and dogs began at a young age, and has grown into passion throughout my years of learning and study. My degree and HND in equine studies provided me with in depth knowledge of performance, nutrition, anatomy and physiology, in which was further expanded during my diploma in animal physiotherapy. I also own two of my own horses, being involved in many different disciplines and activities gives me an understanding from an owners perspective.
Beyond horses, I have a team of working dogs, ranging from a dachshund all the way to a pointer. I spend many days through the season working my cocker spaniel and Labrador beating, therefore I recognise the importance of conditioning and maintenance to reduce the chance of injury, optimise performance and improve longevity.
