Personal Information

Dr. Simon Shufeng Xiao is Professor of International Business (with tenure) and Chair of the Division of Business Administration at Sookmyung Women's University (SMU) in Seoul, Korea. He currently serves as Editor of the International Journal of Multinational Corporation Strategy (IJMCS) and as a special financial commentator for CCTV Business Channel, KBS, and TBS. Dr. Xiao earned his Ph.D. in International Business from Korea University Business School in Seoul. Before joining SMU, he was a faculty member at the Business School of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. Dr. Xiao has received numerous honors, awards, and grants. These include two Best Paper Awards at the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration, a Best Paper Award from the Korean Academy of International Business in 2011, a Best International Paper Award from the Korean Academy of International Business in 2024, and another from the Academy of International Business Southeast Asia Regional Conference in 2016. In 2009, he was honored with the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self-Financed Students Abroad by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). In recognition of his scholarly contributions, he was the recipient of SMU's Outstanding Researcher Award in the Department of Business Administration for five consecutive years (2021–2025). His research interests focus on emerging multinational enterprises, management of Chinese organizations, institutional theory in strategic management, entrepreneurship and innovation, foreign subsidiary management in emerging markets (with a particular focus on China and India), digital transformation, and international business in the digital economy, particularly in relation to technology innovation within and between platform ecosystems. Dr. Xiao's work has been published in leading journals such as Technovation, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of International Management, International Business Review, Management International Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, European Management Journal, Management and Organization Review, Annals of Operations Research, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Asian Business & Management, Business Research Quarterly, and Thunderbird International Business Review, and others. With extensive teaching experience across all levels—including undergraduate, MBA, EMBA, Ph.D., and executive programs—Professor Xiao particularly enjoys mentoring Ph.D. students. He was born in China and currently lives in Korea. He is native in Mandarin Chinese and fluent in English and Korean.

초수봉 교수는 현재 숙명여자대학교 경영학부 학부장으로 재직중이며, 글로벌경영, 신흥시장 전략적 분석, 그리고 국제마케팅 전략 분야에서 강의 및 연구를 진행하고 있다. 고려대학교 경영대학에서 경영학 박사 학위를 취득하였고, 2020년 숙명여자대학교에 부임하기 전까지 한국외국어대학교 경영대학에서 국제경영전략 조교수 및 부교수로 재직하였다. 주요 연구분야는 글로벌전략, 신흥시장 다국적기업 국제화전략, 다국적기업의 신흥시장 진출전략, 제도이론과 기업 혁신창업, 중국시장 전략, 기업 디지털전환 전략, 디지털경제 확산에 따른 국제경영전략, 그리고 국제마케팅 등이다. 이와 관련한 최근연구는 Technovation, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Production Economics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of International Management, International Business Review, Management International Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, European Management Journal, Management and Organization Review, Annals of Operations Research, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, Asian Business & Management, Business Research Quarterly, Thunderbird International Business Review등 국제저명학술지에 게재되었다. 초수봉 교수는 학부, MBA, EMBA, 박사 과정 등 모든 수준에서 풍부한 강의 경험을 보유하고 있으며, 특히 박사과정 학생들과 함께 연구하는 것을 즐긴다. 또한, 초수봉 교수는 숙명여자대학교 경영학부에서 연구 우수 교원으로 2021부터 2024년까지 4년 연속 선정되었다.

个人简介

肖树峰博士现任韩国淑明女子大学商学院管理学部主任、跨国企业战略管理学终身教授、博士生导师。同时，他还担任中国中央电视台财经频道(CCTV-2)、韩国KBS和首尔交通广播电台(TBS)的特约评论嘉宾，并兼任《International Journal of Multinational Corporation Strategy (IJMCS)》的编辑。肖博士毕业于韩国高丽大学商学院，获管理学博士学位，主修跨国企业战略管理。在加入淑明女大商学院前，肖教授曾任韩国外国语大学商学院战略管理学助理教授和副教授。此外，他曾受聘为福建省教育厅工商管理学科高级顾问和福建省高校客座教授。他在本科、MBA、EMBA及博士课程等各层次的教学中积累了丰富经验，并且非常乐于与博士生一起开展合作研究。肖教授目前已经成为国际企业管理研究领域具有国际学术影响力的知名学者和专家。他的研究议题颇具开创性和时效性，当前的研究主要集中在企业竞争与成长战略、新兴市场企业国际化战略、跨国企业与本土企业竞争动态、企业创新以及制度理论。至今，肖教授已经国际国际顶尖SSCI期刊及韩国顶尖学术期刊上发表了80多篇研究成果，涵盖领域包括《Technovation》、《Industrial Marketing Management》、《International Journal of Production Economics》、《Journal of Business Research》、《Journal of Knowledge Management》、《Journal of International Management》、《International Business Review》、《Management International Review》、《International Journal of Human Resource Management》、《European Management Journal》、《Management and Organization Review》、《Annals of Operations Research》、《Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management》、《International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management》、《Asian Business & Management》、《Business Research Quarterly》、《Thunderbird International Business Review》等，另有十余篇学术研究成果目前正在国际知名SSCI期刊审稿或准备投稿。肖教授目前是国际商务学会(AIB)会员，已在国际学术会议上发表近30篇学术研究成果，并获得了众多荣誉、奖项及研究基金支持，包括2008年国际商务学会(AIB)意大利米兰年会最佳论文集奖、2021年韩国经营学会融合学术大会的两项最佳论文奖、2021年韩国国际商务学会的最佳论文奖、2016年国际商务学会发(AIB)东南亚地区分会最佳论文奖、2024年韩国国际经营学会年会“海外优秀论文奖”，以及韩国国家研究基金会及校内多项科研基金项目支持。此外，肖教授还荣获中国国家留学基金管理委员会颁发的2009年国家优秀自费留学生奖学金，并连续四年(2021-2024)获得淑明女子大学商学院“杰出科研教师奖”。他还拥有丰富的企业咨询与培训经验，曾应邀在韩国知名商学院和国际论坛上发表学术演讲，并在多个著名企业会议上发表主旨演讲。如有任何疑问，欢迎随时通过电子邮件联系(邮箱：bizsxiao@sookmyung.ac.kr)。
