I am Biswanath Samanta, an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at IISER Mohali, working under the mentorship of Dr. Abhik Ganguli. I obtained my Ph.D. from IISER Pune in 2026 under the supervision of Dr. Supriya Pisolkar.
My research interests are Number Theory and Arithmetic Geometry. A brief overview of my academic background is available in my CV.
I am currently on the job market for faculty positions in mathematics.
