Hi, I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, IISER Mohali.

My research interests are in number theory, particularly in Galois representations and modular forms. Currently I have been working on determining optimal weights and Serre weights for modular mod p Galois representations associated to certain mod p Hilbert modular forms. My interests also lie in certain aspects of the mod p and p-adic local Langlands program. In particular, the problem of computing the mod p reduction of crystalline representations as an application of the mod p local Langlands correspondence.

Papers & Preprints:
  • Reductions of Galois representations via the mod p Local Langlands correspondence, J. Number Theory 147 (2015), 250–286. This is a joint work with Eknath Ghate.
  • On the reduction modulo p of certain modular p-adic Galois representations (submitted).
  • Weights for mod p quaternionic forms - the unramified case (in preparation).

Previously, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, IISER Bhopal. I was a Postdoctoral Visiting Scientist at TIFR (Mumbai). Before TIFR, I was a NSF Mathematical Institutes postdoctoral fellow of IAS (Princeton) and Rutgers University (Piscataway). I received my Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Chicago under the supervision of Mark Kisin.
