BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE

Monitors and supervises the collection of all internal revenues taxes within the jurisdiction of the Revenue District Office. Collects or accepts payments of internal revenue taxes; collects receivable accounts in assigned jurisdiction.; conducts tax campaign for the collection of delinquent accounts and ascertains the presence of taxable business not concurrently being taxed; executes warrants of distraints and levy; assists in the maintenance and safekeeping of seized and forfeited properties in keeping maintaining an accurate record of all such properties and in inspecting periodically the condition of such properties; prepares inquired reports; and related work. Pre-processing of all bank payment receipts through several bank codes from different banks and districts.
