Please get R running on your machine/in the cloud and go as far as you can with instructions! These assume you've been given the first real github classroom assignment (1_Getting_used_to_R).
Code for introducing you to the tools is in the Starter_code Github Repository in the 1_.Getting_used_to_R folder @ https://github.com/jsgosnell/Starter_code/tree/master/1.%20_Getting_used_to_R . It contains an R script to introduce you to R and a .Rmd file. . This is also what the link you receive via github classroom will point towards.
You can download any files by selecting them, then clicking raw; on the next page right-click the screen, select "Save as", and save the resulting file. You can also download the folder by clicking here. The link will download a zipped file that you need to extract to get to the files.
The link above will take you to a github file showing the assignment. You can make a copy of the repository it's in to complete the assignment. This is also what the link you receive via github classroom will accomplish.
