Field site 1

Umling (Nongkhyllem WLS)

This field site is in Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya. Surrounded by Khasi hills and sub tropical forest of Indo-maynmar bidiversity hotspot.

Currently it is closed.

Field site 2

Daribokgre (Nokrek NP)

This village is situated in top of Garo hills . the last motorable village in Nokrek NP. This places comes under buffer region of Nokrek Biosphere reserve recognized by UNESCO. Known for its diverse pristine tropical forest.

Field site 3

Gallibedu village (Kodagu)

It is in a plantation resort in mid of rainforest of Coorg. This situated in the Western Ghats biodiversity hotspot.

For my PhD thesis work I was having this 3 field sites.

The first field site was established by me, other two was home stays with basic facilities and minimal internet connection.
