Objectives of the Scheme: The Scheme has the following objectives: 

(a) To facilitate young academic talent to be associated with the Board’s functions and activities for mutual benefit; 

(b) The "Biodiversity Interns" shall have an opportunity to gain acquaintance and working knowledge about the BSBB functioning and the developmental and regulatory activities in the field of 2 biodiversity conservation and associated ecological, environmental, social and economic aspects / dimensions – policy and programmes, and contribute in its implementation and reforms, if required, by generating inputs such as empirical analysis, briefing reports, policy papers, etc.
