The Bihar State Biodiversity Board, (herein after also referred to as the Board or BSBB), a statutory body constituted under the Biological Diversity Act 2002 (Amended 2023) is offering an Internship Scheme that seeks to engage students of Bachelors’/Masters’ Degree Programmes as well as Research Scholars enrolled in recognized University/Institution within Bihar, as "Biodiversity Interns". These Interns shall be inducted in the Board Headquarters at Patna and at selected locations in Bihar. 

These “Biodiversity Interns”, would be expected to support the activities of the BSBB through collection, collation, analysis and processing of information and knowledge available in-house and other sources including field observations etc. For the "Biodiversity Interns", the exposure to the activities related to biodiversity under the laws, policies and programmes in context under the guidance of this Board in the State of Bihar may be an enhancement in furthering their future career and professional interests, besides their contribution in the larger interest of ecological balance and environment protection.
