In this Lab, the effect of amino acid availability as regulating factor of every protein synthesis is investigated,
Over the last decade, we have progressively developed a composition-based view of the human proteome, demonstrating that amino acid content, far from being a passive consequence of protein sequence, encodes biologically and pathophysiologically relevant information linked to metabolism, tissue environment, and disease.
Amino Acid Analysis from UniProt Code (AC).
Enter an UniProt AC code to download the protein sequence and visualize the relative frequencies of amino acids, as well as specific amino acid ratios (E/Q, E/P, Y/F, D/N, G/S) .
Amino Acid Composition Comparison (UniProt).
Enter one or more UniProt AC separated by commas to compare relative amino acid frequencies and specific ratios (E/Q, E/P, Y/F, D/N, G/S) across proteins.
Uniprot E/Q Ratio Ranking App (Uniprot)
Enter one or more UniProt AC separated by commas. The app will calculate the E/Q ratio (glutamic acid / glutamine) for each protein, and show detailed UniProt information.
Amino acid and genes Chromosomes analysis (UniProt and Ensembl).
Enter a human chromosome number (1–22, X, or Y) to retrieve all protein-coding genes.
AA-Protein-Analyzer is an interactive web application built entirely in Python. It uses the Streamlit framework to provide a simple and efficient interface for data visualization and web deployment.
The app retrieves protein sequences from UniProt, computes amino acid frequencies and specific ratios (E/Q, E/P, Y/F, D/N, G/S), and exports results in Excel format.
AA-protein-compare, fully developed in Python and deployed on Streamlit Cloud, enables researchers to compare the amino acid composition and specific residue ratios (E/Q, E/P, Y/F, D/N, G/S) across multiple protein sequences retrieved from the UniProt database.
In this Lab, the effect of amino acid availability as regulating factor of every protein synthesis is investigated.
AA-Protein-EQ is an interactive web application, fully developed in Python and deployed on Streamlit Cloud. It enables researchers to order protein based on E/Q amino acid composition. The proteins are retrieved from the UniProt database.
In this Lab, the effect of amino acid availability as regulating factor of every protein synthesis is investigated.
Chromosome Proteins is a web application. It accesses UniProt and Ensembl databases programmatically, using python interfaces in order to obtain data always updated.
The Uniprot Table and the Ensembl table are merged based on Uniprot/Swissprot id accession number (AC), length, and sequence in order to obtain a Canonical table.
