I hold a B.A. in Psychology and Mathematics from the University of British Columbia and am currently studying MET at UBC. I have been in the higher education industry for over seven years, in charge of teaching and management. Psychology is intimately related to education in many ways: psychology is the study of human behaviour, and education is the procedure of changing human behaviour. Designing more efficient and valuable educational practices presupposes fundamental research. In this information age, mobile technologies, which evolved extremely fast, enable humans to achieve more and more previously unprocurable ideas. With MoBI, more educational experiments in real-world environments can be conducted, thus, improving our understanding of the brain and learning and hopefully aiding the development of educational practices shortly.
