The second annual Binghamton 2 Degrees event was a resounding success! This vibrant community arts and music festival brought the Souther Tier together to focus on climate change through live music, local artists, food trucks, and engaging family activities, including participatory art, storytelling painting, and educational booths.
By inspiring action through art, the festival provided a unique opportunity for the community to share their experiences with the natural world and reflect on an important questions" What will Binghamton look like under two degrees of warming, and what can we do now to prepare?"

Participants contributed items and creativity by creating a collage made from recyclable materials with the help of world-renowed artist Steven Siegel.
Local artists brought the Binghamton 2 Degrees festival to life, showcasing their talent and inspiring action on climate change. Many participated in a competition with cash prizes, adding excitement and creativity to the event.
The non-slam slam poetry competition featured impactful 200-word pieces on climate change, judged by the audience. The winner received a $100 farmer’s market gift certificate.
