Fiesta Celebrations
If there's one celebration you don't want to miss out on while in Binalonan, it's the colorful fiestas that take place yearly. Another influence of the Spanish invaders was the celebration of fiestas, which were mostly done to honor patron saints. It consists of street parades, contests, and other activities and events.
Parades and Events
Hundreds of people gather to see the march on a traditional event during the town fiesta, the Civic Parade.
Of course, many of the parades are associated with religious festivals. Wearing their street dancing costumes, youngsters led the neighborhood march with the barrio inhabitants in a procession oozing the image of PIT Senior Sto. Nino. There are numerous other joyous occasions throughout the year that call for a well-organized march through the streets.
Binalonan Town Fiesta also includes several contests such as dance revolutions, Miss Binalonan, and many more activities. It demonstrates the creativity and talents of the people in town.
Carlos Bulosan Day
Binalonan town celebrates Carlos S. Bulosan Day to pay homage to the life, times, and literary works of the local hero. He’s not totally forgotten after all as he was well-recognized by the people in Binalonan. Carlos Bulosan's entire life and works embody the heroic struggles and sacrifices of the Filipino community in world history as a colonized and emerging national agency.
Christmas Bazaar
A deeply religious nation, Filipinos adopted Christmas traditions from the Spaniards and built onto those, adding some twists and rituals of their own. People in Binalonan town are getting into the holiday spirit because of the Christmas Bazaar. There are decorations around showing those bright Christmas lights in ber months already. Despite the pandemic, people still have Binalonan Christmas Bazaar 2021 and showed love for Christmas.
