PRIVACY POLICY — Snag Rewards Tracker

What data we collect

Snag Rewards Tracker is an offline-first app. Your reward data (titles, coupon codes, expiry dates, discount details) is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to any server.

Photos & Images

When you use the voucher scanning feature, selected images are processed entirely on your device using on-device OCR (ML Kit / DeepSeek). No images are transmitted to external servers.

Firebase Services

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notification delivery and Firebase Analytics for basic, anonymous app usage statistics (e.g., screen views, crash reports). Firebase may collect device identifiers and IP address as described in Google's privacy policy. No personal information is linked to this data.

On-Device AI (Optional)

If you choose to enable on-device AI, model files are downloaded from ModelScope. This is a one-time, user-initiated download. All AI processing happens locally on your device.

Advertising ID

The app declares the AD_ID permission for analytics compliance purposes. We do not serve ads and do not share your advertising ID with third parties.

What we do NOT collect

• No account or login required

• No name, email, or personal information

• No location data

• No contacts or call logs

• No camera access (photo picker only)

• No reward data is ever sent to any server

Data storage

All reward data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device. Preferences are stored in SharedPreferences (Android) / NSUserDefaults (iOS). Uninstalling the app deletes all data.

Third-party services

• Google Firebase (notifications & analytics) — Google Privacy Policy

• Google ML Kit (on-device text recognition) — processed locally, no data sent

• ModelScope (optional AI model download) — MLLM Model

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top.
