Billmeyer Memorial

Our parents, Don and Audrey Billmeyer, both passed away from cancer 20 years ago, leaving behind their (7) adult children. As siblings, we realized that we could better cope with our own personal loss by making a difference in our community, through fund raising efforts benefiting The Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital. The Whittingham Cancer Center is a state-of-the art facility where both our parents received medical treatment. Donations are used to enhance programs that support research and patient care. We proudly share that to date we have raised more than $400,000! Our primary fund-raising event is an annual golf tournament, held on Columbus Day, at Norwalk’s own Oak Hills Park Golf course. Our tournament is the largest in the Norwalk area, with 144 golfers, along with additional supporters that join us for a post golf after party and raffle, that brings in a total of 200 guests. We love the Oak Hills facility and feel it’s important to keep our tournament local to Norwalk.
