My name is Karli Goodell and I’m a catcher at Shepherd High School in Shepherd, Montana. I am 5’10 and am apart of the 2026 recruiting class. I currently hold a 4.33 GPA and am involved in Student Council, National Honors Society, and have made Academic All State all three years of my high school career.I hold a batting average of .622 and lead my team with 32 doubles, and an OBP of .656. Defensively, I am a reliable catcher with a pop time of 1.8 and I also have a strong softball IQ. One of my passions is weightlifting, I weigh 135lb and my max bench is 130, squat 200, and power clean 115. I want to earn a business degree.

Notes from the Coach:  Karli is a vocal leader.  She is incredibly quick at the catcher position.  Girls don't typically run on her.  She has gotten the opportunity  to catch elite pitching, and does a phenomenal job handling it.  During travel season Karli works on the skill of calling pitches.  During high school she relays to the pitcher what the coach calls.  She does both well.  Karli is a dependable hitter with an inside-out swing.  Most of her hits go to the right side.  She has a knack for moving runners and getting the job done.  Karli is self motivated and is not afraid to do the extras to get where she wants to go.  She works hard and and generally can be seen at practice with a smile on her face.  When Karli is not there, I feel it as a coach. She has a good presence about her as a player.
