• What are chart predictions?

Chart predictions are based on initial performance of the song/album, with the performance for the rest of the week estimated using market trends or previous patterns observed from the artist. Predictions are ALWAYS on a weekly basis.

      • • "ROCK-STAR" EP is projected to debut atop Billboard 200 with 225K-250K opening units (HITSDD).

    • Midweek predictions – based on the first three days, usually out Tuesdays

    • Interim Predictions – these are out-of-usual predictions used to update or correct previously-posted predictions, out randomly.

While US/Global Billboard tracking is for a whole week from Aug 22-28 ET (or Aug 22, 1PM KST to Aug 29, 12:59PM KST), we recommend going all in within the first 3 days in order for the song to be included in midweek chart predictions. Being included in the midweek predictions will give us a leeway and better picture of how we can boost CEREMONY on charts in the remaining days of the tracking week.

•  Are chart predictions accurate?

We do not recommend relying on predictions, especially if the gap is close. There are many instances where reliable industry predictions overestimate new releases. Nothing is final until official chart release.
