IMPORTANT: Only iTunes has confirmed that they do not share payment details with Billboard; we believe this is also the case with other platforms since it is sensitive information BUT as a precaution, we highly recommend diversifying the platforms where you purchase. For the first week of Billboard tracking (Aug 22-28 ET), we highly recommend focusing on CEREMONY + VERSIONS instead of the digital album for the following reasons:

1.  CEREMONY + VERSIONS will impact both singles and albums chart, while digital albums only impact album charts

   • On US album chart, 10 track sales = 1 album unit, impacting both Hot 100 and Billboard 200 at the same time.

2.  Billboard has no global album chart

   • Because of this, buying the digital album as a whole will not really impact any global album chart. Buying CEREMONY + VERSIONS multiple times or buying all tracks individually is better due to the existence of Billboard Global 200, a singles chart.

3. With exemption to United Kingdom

   • UK Albums do not have a track equivalent album system like Billboard 200, thus, buying whole album is recommended. If possible, buy CEREMONY + VERSIONS first then buy the complete album as a whole.

Of course, this still depends on your discretion. If you can afford to buy a digital album on top of multiple CEREMONY + VERSIONS purchases, then feel free to do so (Billboard has the same rules on digital singles and digital albums so please be guided when buying).

While US/Global Billboard tracking is for a whole week from July 19-25 ET, we recommend going all in within the first 3 days in order for the song to be included in midweek chart predictions. • What does "Chk Chk Boom and all its versions are combined on Billboard" means?

On Billboard charts, they combined multiple versions of a song so availability of another version boosts the main version. PRIORITIZE BUYING/STREAMING CHK CHK BOOM, ITS FESTIVAL VER, AND ITS REMIXES.

• [iTunes] iTunes pre-order is available, should I do that?

We do not recommend it as iTunes pre-order is limited for whole album only. Our purchase strategy focuses on buying title track multiple times to impact Hot 100/Global 200.

• [iTunes] Do I need Apple device to purchase?

No. You can download iTunes on PC/Laptop/Windows. See stayville.net/projects/itunes.

• [iTunes] Why can't I purchase CCB + VERSIONS again?

This is likely because you forgot to "Delete from Library". Apple will not allow you to purchase a digital item that is already in your device so make sure to delete your purchase.

• [iTunes] Why do I need to delete my iTunes download after purchasing if I'm using Apple Music?

This is because you will be streaming the local file which does not reflect on charts.

• Is sales enough to chart on Hot 100?

No. Sales definitely help but we need to push harder on streaming too. Note that streaming weighs bigger on Hot 100 than sales.

• Since iTunes is confirmed to not share emails on Billboard, can I use the email on my Apple ID to purchase on other stores?

Yes. But we still recommend using unique emails if you have the time to make new ones. Just in case, you can use 1 email to make Apple ID and use the same email in 1 other non-iTunes stores.

Example:

• 1 email = 1 Apple ID + 1 Qobuz account (non-iTunes) = OKAY

• 1 email = 1 Qobuz (non-iTunes) + 1 Amazon (non-iTunes) = NOT OKAY
