• What are Pre-save / Pre-Add?

Simply, this is like a pre-order but for streaming services. "KARMA" will automatically be added on your library upon release.

• Why Pre-save / Pre-Add?

PRE-ADD is a native Apple Music feature. Apple Music editors and curators look at these numbers to gauge interest before a release. Having more PRE-ADD increases the chances of being included in prominent playlists right after the release.

PRE-SAVE, then a third-party feature, is now a native Spotify feature as well (called "Countdown"). Spotify picks up releases with big pre-save numbers for their algorithmic and editorial playlists.

More PRE-SAVE/PRE-ADD = higher chances of Stray Kids releases being included on large playlists.

iTunes is a digital store while Apple Music is a streaming app – though different, both sync in the same library!

If you bought from iTunes, you will need to delete your purchase for your streams to count on Apple Music, otherwise, you will only be streaming the local file.

To delete your iTunes purchase:

1. Go to Apple Music

2. Locate song/album

3. Tap three dots (•••)

4. Tap "Delete from Library" not "Delete Download"

5. Tap "Confirm," the song/album shall no longer appear on your library 

6. Quit Apple Music, then wait 20 seconds

7. Re-open Apple Music then stream as you normally do (you can add or download song/album, make sure you do it inside Apple Music).

On Mac OS Apple Music, you can verify status of song via 'Get Info,' file should be tagged under "Apple Music" and not "Purchased" or "iTunes"

Don't worry, you can still recover your iTunes purchase on iTunes. It is forever in your iCloud.

• I downloaded the song offline, will my streams be counted?

Yes as long as you casually go online (preferably at least once a day). Your offline data will sync once you go online.

However, if you downloaded from iTunes/Amazon, make sure you delete the file first (or do not download the local file) otherwise your streams will not be counted at all even if you are online.

• Can I stream using multiple platforms using 1 device?

Yes! We highly recommend streaming in multiple platforms (preferably with premium) to better impact charts. Example: using a laptop, you can stream simultaneously on Apple Music, YouTube, Spotify, and Pandora – just use headphones for the clashing sound.

• [Spotify] Is it true that only 20 streams per account will count on charts?

False. Please do not stop streaming even after 20 streams. We have reached out to Spotify before to confirm this and they have said that only low-quality streams are filtered out. In case you are skeptical of this, feel free to follow the 20-streams-song-per-account rule and change accounts from time to time since this will help increase our monthly listeners too.

• [Spotify] Can I use long and overnight playlists?

We highly discourage idle streaming, especially during the first week for chart purposes. Note that low-quality or bot-like streams do not reflect on chart. We only recommend using such playlists at least 2 weeks after the songs have left the charts to boost unfiltered streams. For focused playlists, please see @skzlist.

Instead of such playlists, we recommend parking your accounts on STATIONHEAD and they will stream for you. STATIONHEAD fanbases are online 24/7.
