Hi, I'm Nick Hein.  I love Bikes and Planes! I love the science behind them.  I hope to stir your interest in science and experimentation with demonstrations, simulations and a few lessons. 

I'm retired now, but in my 30 year aerospace career I worked on airliners, military planes, airships, parachutes and business jets.  My specialties weren't very specialized - work would vary from  accident investigation to simulation to avionics software development and testing - even some wind tunnel testing.  On the side I flew light planes and hang gliders.

Now I volunteer at the Kelch Aviation Museum as a docent and educator.  We're developing an education program for school-age youth that connects the discoveries of flight with the Golden Age of Aviation (1918-1940) and the planes of that era.
