Bigfoot Go Riding

Welcome. Bigfoot Go Riding is a website that provides information on cycle rides arranged by the Bigfoot Youth Cycle Club – a club run by volunteers, non-profit making and based in Hayes, Kent. We are pleased to be supported by the Bigfoot Cycle Club and other local cycle clubs.

Many of the rides are open to the public - for adults and children, including adults riding without children. We have a range of rides both on and off road, with a wide variety of rides to suit a wide variety of interests and abilities - from 'easy peasy' to challenging. Interested? Read on! Bigfoot to Brighton 2021 *** CANCELLED ***

(UPDATE: APRIL 2021) WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?? – Bigfoot to Brighton (B2B) is our series of six guided group road rides in the countryside from March to May starting at 15 miles and progressing on to the 6th ride where we ride the 54 miles to Brighton! All rides start in Hayes, Kent. Suited to riders young and old, you can ride some or all of the rides - it's up to you. We have concluded with the current Covid circumstances and the way this event is structured not arrange it this year. We will arrange a number of occasional rides aimed at children with parents / carers – and that could include riding to Brighton, see below. If we are able to arrange this B2B ride series in 2022, details will be provided here. You can see the B2B routes on the Routes and Risks tab of this website.

Bigfoot Social and Challenge Rides 2021

(UPDATE: APRIL 2021) Now that the Covid 19 lockdown is relaxing we can start some group cycle rides! We are aiming these rides at children and their parents / carers - each ride is led by one of our club volunteers. You don't have to be a member of our club to go on a ride.

They can be off road, on road, they can be short and easy-peasy or longer and challenging. It could even be a series of rides leading to a ride to Brighton! So why not give it a go?
