The Bigfoot Family Rides are an occasional series of rides suited to adults, young people, families with children - in fact anyone who fancies a nice easy ride. There are about 9 or 10 each year. Some are local to Hayes, Kent; some are trips away. Some are off road, some mainly on quiet roads. Varying distances. When each ride is publicised details are provided, so riders can consider if the ride is suitable.
The Bigfoot to Brighton ride series takes place in the spring of each year. Comprising of 6 rides from 15 to 54 miles (the final ride taking you to Brighton!). Again they are suited to adults, young people, families with children - though in this case the distances get progressively more challenging. All rides start and finish in Hayes, Kent except for the actual ride to Brighton that, you guessed it, finishes in Brighton. The rides are as much as possible on quiet roads, with the occasional busier road. The ride series publicity provides full full details, so riders can consider if the rides are suitable.
These rides are open to the public and are led by the club’s cyclists
