2024年結成。

小さな竹活用プロジェクトを触媒とした大きな都市変化を目標に、建築、デザイン、アートを横断する学生主体の集団です。 

プロジェクトの拠点となるのは、「天神ビッグバン」として爆発的な再生を遂げつつある福岡市。 

「放置竹林を、エンターテイメントに変える。」をコンセプトに、地域社会を巻き込んだ小さなアクションを起こし広げていくことで、長期的なボトムアップ型の都市変革を目指します。

BIG BAM BOO is a student-led organization, established in 2024, that spans architecture, design, and art, aiming to achieve significant urban transformation through small-scale bamboo utilization projects. 

The group’s activities are based in Fukuoka City, which is undergoing a dynamic revitalization known as the "Tenjin Big Bang." 

Transforming neglected bamboo forests into entertainment. Through small actions that engage local communities and spread widely, we aim for long-term, bottom-up urban transformation.
