December DCM - 12/17/22
The winter DCM was quite a joyful event which started the course of our winter breaks. Many members of the club were able to attend the event which made it all the more fun! The event started with the DCM which then quickly turned to a night of fun and skating. Our previous D12 LTGs also attended, who came to show their love!

Goody Bags Service Event - 11/28/22
’Tis the season to be jolly! And jolly it is, with our Key Club members gathering at the weekly meeting on November 28 to commend nurses for their hard work. Members were given mints, ziplocs, and construction paper to get creative and make heartfelt cards that are sure to put smiles on recipients’ faces. After half an hour, a pile of packages with mints and cards were ready to be shipped off to the nurses. The holiday spirit is defined by showing kindness to others, so what could be a better a way to spread the holiday spirit than to show thanks to those who take care of us when we are in need?

Spooktacular - 10/30/22
The Spooktacular took a lot of planning and it worked out. One of the most important parts of the event was all the effort of the Key Club, the lower school, the parents, and everyone that participated in the trunk or treat put in. All of that allowed the kids to enjoy themselves at the event by getting some candy, checking out all the weird and interesting trunks that were decorated by the parents, and having some fun in different activities hosted by Key Club in attempts to get some candy.

The Spooktacular event had way more people than last year, so many more parents and kids were active. The parking lot was filled with all sorts of cool stations, inside the school the games were also better than last year. I got to meet many new faces, I worked at the mini bowling station near the entrance. All the kids were playing at the stations or with their friends. It was great to see the new friendships and memories for the spirit of Halloween.

PauseFor Sunday Service Event - 10/9/22
The PauseFor event that BIF and MSJ held for students was extremely helpful for me. Not only did I manage to study for AP Biology, I also finished half of an SAT practice exam. The best part about the event was knowing that I helped to pause for hunger to a special cause that will donate meals to the many children who are in need.

Ritas Ice-Cream Fundraiser - 9/1/2022
The Ritas Fundraiser was truly an amazing experience. When I was serving the Italian ice, I got to meet so many new people from different grades. The best part of the entire event was seeing how people's faces lit up when they got their serving. The whole experience really brought joy to my heart and I will love to do something like that again.

The Ritas Fundraiser was a really nice experience because I was able to serve Italian ice to all my classmates. Also, going to the store and talking to the manager was really fun because I could practice talking to people in a businesslike manner and it made me feel more confident and formal. The best part was obviously the part where we got to eat Italian ice, and I got a whole cup of cotton candy Italian ice just to myself. - Joleen For the Ritas Fundraiser that our Key Club held at school, our members took preorders to determine the amount of ice we needed to buy and which flavors customers wanted. Members also served and scooped ice cream to fundraise money for the Pediatric Trauma Program.

Club Rush - 8/19/22
Club rush was designed to advertise clubs to students and share what experience they will obtain if they were to join. Key Club attended club rush with our goal to advertise the club and gain new members along the way. We applied small decorations on our small booth to make our club stand out. The event went great and we were able to get 15 to 20 people interested in signing up. We were also able to show previews of past division events to show the massive size of Key Club!!

Uncharted Movie Night - 7/30/22
The movie night was an incredible bonding opportunity with members over the summer! As we watched the new movie, "Uncharted", featuring movie star Tom Holland, we laughed and discussed the plot of the movie as well as our rating of it at the end. Overall, it was a fun experience and I enjoyed being able to talk with members!
