Bible Verses (iOS app)
Effective date: 13 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Parth Vaddoriya ("we", "us"), the publisher of the Bible Verses app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's Usage Rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or use it to build a competing product.
Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these terms and that agreement differ, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.
Reading the Bible, notes, bookmarks, related verses, the original-language view, reminders and widgets are free. Premium unlocks Ask the Bible, Explain Easier, Deeper Study, Apply to Life and other features shown on the Premium screen. What is included in each may change over time.
Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered weekly or yearly. The price for your country is shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
If a free trial is offered, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before then. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
We may change prices for future periods. You will be told in advance and can cancel before a new price applies.
Ask the Bible, Explain Easier, Deeper Study and Apply to Life are written by an artificial-intelligence service. They are meant to help you read and think about Scripture. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they do not represent the teaching of any church or denomination.
They are not professional advice. Do not rely on the app for medical, mental-health, legal or financial decisions. If you are in crisis or danger, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.
To keep the service available to everyone, the number of requests one device can make in an hour is limited.
You agree not to misuse the app: for example, by trying to disrupt or overload our servers, getting around usage limits or the Premium lock, sending unlawful, abusive or harmful content through Ask the Bible or feedback, or using automated tools to extract content.
Your notes, bookmarks and other things you save belong to you. They are stored on your device and in your private iCloud. Questions you send to Ask the Bible are processed as described in the Privacy Policy. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve the app without owing you anything for it.
The Bible translations in the app are used under their respective licences or are in the public domain. The app's design, illustrations, stories, summaries and other written content belong to us or our licensors. You may share verses and verse images from the app for personal, non-commercial use.
We work to keep the app running but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Features that need the internet depend on services run by others. We may add, change or remove features, and we may stop offering the app. If we end a paid feature, your subscription will not renew for it.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of content, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end access for anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
