The Mountaineer was maintained by Newsletter Committee that allowed members to share sentiments through Letters to the Editor and important announcements like upcoming events and life milestones.

Only some of the the 1993 and 1999 prints have been found, and they show Mr. John Culhi (1993) and Mr. Octavio Balangcod (1999) were the Editors in charge in their respective times.

Finding and digitally storing the newsletters is a current work-in-progress. A newsletter has not been issued consistently term-to-term since the organization's use of the Internet to share information- particularly Yahoo Groups, and eventually, Facebook. As of 2024, The Mountaineer is no longer being issued.
